New York remains alive for the postseason and they are doing it with defense, as they are no longer the all-out offensive team since Mike D'Antoni was fired. They held Orlando to 80 points the last game and have allowed 88, 87, 79, 79, 80, 86, 75 and 80 in eight of their last 11 games (all wins). New York is on an 8-3 run UNDER the total. The Knicks are still without offensive forces center Amare Stoudemire and point guard Jeremy Lin, but have defensive force Tyson Chandler up front.
