Wily Peralta has been pitching better than his record indicates as he has allowed more than two runs just once his last five starts after a stint in the minors. Peralta has been the victim of poor run support as Milwaukee has scored a total of five runs his last three outings. Meanwhile, Chicago has lost six of Jason Hammel's last seven road starts. He did win his last start against Pittsburgh. However, he gave up 13 runs, nine earned, and 15 hits in just 5 2/3 innings his previous two appearances at Colorado and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Hammel has a 1.77 ERA at home and 4.65 in away games. He's given up six runs and nine hits in 11 innings at Miller Park this year. This is a good spot for the home underdog. Play the Brewers.
