Chicago at Milwaukee

Zach Davies pitched seven shutout innings in Milwaukee's 1-0 loss at Cincinnati on Sunday and that followed a 5-2 win at Washington when Davies allowed just two runs in 6 2/3 innings. The right-hander is 6-4 with a 3.79 ERA on the season and 6-1 after a terrible April. The Brewers won two of three against Chicago in May, holding the Cubs to a total of seven runs in the entire series. John Lackey has been shaky lately in giving up 14 earned runs his last 20 innings with four home runs. The Cubs have lost five of his last six starts and he has a 4.70 ERA on the road compared to 2.84 at home. The Cubs have lost six of their last eight road games and the Brewers have won six of Davies' last seven starts at Miller Park. The home underdog is the play in this matchup, so take the Brewers.
