Can the Cubs steal another from Houston tonight? They beat Clemens as a +215 underdog last night 8-6 in 18 innings. That was after the Cubs beat Roy Oswalt the night before. Tonight they face Andy Pettitte who is looking to help his team avoid the embarrassment of a sweep at the hands of the Cubs - a 26-37 road team. Pettite is 2-1 this year with a 3.00 ERA vs. the Cubs. He's got a 7-4 home record and is coming off some excellent outings (2.66 ERA over his last three starts). He's 51-13 vs. teams that are outscored by 0.5+ runs per game (Chicago has been outscored by nearly 1 full run this season). Ryan Omalley gets the call for Chicago. He's a lefty and Houston is 29-10 the past two seasons vs. left-handed starters. The Cubs are off a rare high scoring game and they are just 4-15 this year after scoring 8+ runs. Houston needs this one and they should get it.
