Chicago at Cleveland

Chicago has packed it in, losing three in a row and 13 of 16. The White Sox don't have a stopper going either in Scott Carroll (5-9, 5.07 ERA). The team is 1-6 his last seven starts. Chicago is on an 8-20 run, plus the White Sox are 3-12 against a team with a winning record. They are facing a highly motivated Cleveland Indians team that is charging toward a playoff berth. The Indians are 44-14 at home against a team with a losing road record and go for the sweep here. This is part of an 11-game homestand for the Indians, and they have red hot righty Carlos Carrasco (2.94 ERA) on the mound. Carrasco rejoined the rotation on Aug. 10 and has been superb going 3-0 while allowing a total of three runs over 30 innings for a 0.90 ERA in five starts.
