This certainly has been one of the most competitive series in a long time in the NBA Playoffs. Some say it's one of the best ever. With four games having already gone to overtime, this series has set a NBA record. The overtime periods have led to a lot of extra points on the board with these games averaging 223 points. But as offensive as the numbers appear, they are jaded by overtime. The fact is that in three of those overtime games, neither team scored more than 97 points in any of them. Boston got here and became the No. 2 seed and won the NBA Championship a year ago because they play tough defense. Kevin Garnett is out which has reduced their defense for sure. But if their was ever going to be a time when they call upon that defensive effort, it will be for a game seven at the Garden - especially in the first half. Chicago is 26-13 UNDER in the first-half after allowing 110+ in their last game the past two seasons. Boston is 14-6 UNDER this season revening a loss and 16-7 UNDER after two straight OVERs. They are also 12-4 UNDER this season in the first half after scoring 105+ in two straight games. The Celtics are 27-12 UNDER in the first half this season vs. teams that average 100+ ppg. The most intense defense of this series will be reserved for the first half in this one, so will go with the first-half UNDER here.
