The Chicago White Sox have played very well of late, as the bats have come alive. They have put together a neat five game winning streak. The streak has moved them back into Wild Card contention, as they are now just 4.5 games out. Jeff Samardzija is part of trade rumors, and he has been pitching better recently. Over his last nine starts he has gone at least seven innings in all of them, and has been a solid innings eater, and productive on the mound. Boston thought they'd get a lot more from Wade Miley, and his 4.33 ERA. Miley has gone winless in his last four starts, and the Red Sox have been 0-7 in their last seven games to a total of 7 to 8.5.
