Charlotte had a four-game winning streak snapped in a 98-93 loss against Boston on Saturday. The Hornets put in a good defensive performance in holding the Celtics to 41.7 percent from the field, but only had a .409 field goal percentage themselves. Nicolas Batum led Charlotte with 21 points and Kemba Walker added 16 points. Walker and Batum are averaging a combined 35 points per game. Orlando has lost three of its last five games, but beat Brooklyn 105-82 on Monday. Six Magic players scored in double figures in that one, led by Nikola Vucevic with 18 points and Tobias Harris contributed 15 points and nine rebounds. This followed a horrific performance against Cleveland when the Magic was blown out by 35 points while shooting 38.9 percent from the field.
