Charlotte at Old Dominion

The Charlotte 49ers opened their season with a pair of wins, but Middle Tennessee State gave them a quick wakeup call in a 73-14 massacre. They gave up nearly 700 yards in that game, which has helped to distort their overall defensive numbers, which are much better than they appear. Charlotte has allowed just 252 yards per game in their other four. Old Dominion does not have the offense to be able to do much either. Unfortunately, Charlotte doesn't have enough offense to do a lot of damage here either, and that puts the spotlight on a bad Old Dominion offense as a sizable favorite, and will be hard-pressed to pull away here. The Monarchs are now 0-9 ATS following a spread loss, and just 1-9 ATS in their last 10 on turf. This dog has a similar resume, and the points are a lot more generous than what I come up with.
