Carolina at Tampa Bay

Sunday 10/04 01:00 PM Eastern

1 unit on Game Total UNDER 40 -105 (risk 1 to return 1.95)  RESULT: LOSS

It isn't very common to see totals down around the 40 mark in the NFL anymore, but the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be playing to one on Sunday in Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers are excited about #1 overall draft choice QB Jameis Winston. Winston may one day be a great QB, but without a lot of weapons, or strong offensive line, he has not made much of a difference to the offense. Tampa Bay's offense has averaged just 16.3 points per game through three games, down a point from last season where they averaged 17.3 ppg. The Panthers failed to get to 20 points last season in more than half its games, and at the same time have held their first three opponents to 16.0 ppg this season. Cam Newton has had to do a lot more running than ownership and coaching staff would like to see, as he simply doesn't have enough up front to keep him protected. The points are going to be tough to come by here. Carolina is 10-2 to the UNDER within the division in their last 12, while the Bucs now 11-2 to the UNDER in their last 13. This one stays UNDER.
