We cashed with Boston in game one and will repeat our backing of them tonight in game two. Carolina is now just 4-4 in the playoffs, averaging only 2.2 goals per game. That's not going to get it done. Their offense just doesn't have enough firepower. On the season they are averaging just 8.7% SOG conversion and that's gotten worse as the competition has heated up in the playoffs. Boston has posted a perfect 5-0 playoff record, holding Montreal and Carolina to just 1.4 goals per game. There's no reason they can't win here. The Bruins this season are an incredible 43-15 vs. teams that allow 18%+ power-play conversion. They are 50-20 overall as a favorite, and 19-5 off a home win by 2+ goals. When coming off two straight wins by 2+ goals, the Bruins are 20-3 this year! Yes, -200 is steep but in this case, it's worth it.
