Buffalo at New England

Nothing can be more invigorating for a defense than to dominate an opponent and keep them off the scoreboard for four quarters. The Buffalo Bills should be inspired as they head to New England to take on the Patriots. New England scored 41 points last week, and on the surface it looks like the offense has come back to life. A closer look shows 21 of those points were scored in the final two minutes, as the Pats recovered a fumble in the end-zone and had a pick-six. Overall, the Pats' offense has scored 20 points per game without Gronkowski, and 31.2 ppg with him. So, I think the 41 from a week ago has this total set too high. The Buffalo offense has not exactly been precise down the stretch, scoring just 17.3 ppg in their last three. On the flipside, the 20 total points they have allowed the last two weeks are a season's best over two consecutive games. The Bills are now 15-7 to the UNDER in their last 22 after allowing 14 or fewer in their previous game. The Patriots are generally considered an OVER team, but within he division they are now 6-1 to the UNDER, including the first meeting this season with the Bills. The UNDER gets the call in this one.
