Brooklyn at Detroit

Year after year Detroit never seems to improve and the Pistons are off to another bad start with a 2-4 record both straight-up and ATS. The Nets have covered the spread seven of the last 10 meetings and they come off their second win of the season in a 123-116 victory over the Rockets on Friday night. Taurean Prince had 27 points and 12 rebounds and Kyrie Irving banked 22 points and 10 assists to hold off James Harden and company and the Rockets missed 36-of-48 three-point attempts. Brooklyn can build off that performance going into Detroit and the Pistons' only two wins this season have been against Indiana. Detroit still is playing without Blake Griffin (hamstring) and Reggie Jackson is questionable with back tightness. The Pistons are 3-13 ATS their last 16 games overall and 1-7 ATS their last eight home games. Take the Nets.
