WIN

The Boston Bruins suffered from the anticipated hangover of their Stanley Cup win last spring. They opened the season at just 3-7 through their first ten games. They have been playing lights out hockey since, posting a 21-4 mark over their last 25 games. What might be more remarkable is the 112 goals they have scored in the process, averaging 4.48 goals a conest, just about enough to top this total on its own. The New Jersey Devils have played pretty good hockey themselves, winning nine of their last 13 contests. They too have been pounding the net scoring 43 times in the 13 games or at a pace of 3.3 a contest. That certainly makes this total look rather small the way these teams are striking the net. Boston isn't just playing good, they are playing very well against winning teams at 28-11 in their last 39, while the Devils are just 2-8 hosting a team with a better than .600 road mark. The Bruins are also 11-3 to the OVER in their last 14 vs. a winning team and have won five of the six vs. the Devils. Play on Boston and the OVER in this one.
