WIN

The Red Sox have not played well for nearly two months but that wasn't going to continue forever. They are now poised to run off some wins. The pitching has been steady all season and now the offense is in high gear. The Indians are now just 7-9 in their last 16, with pitching the problem. The Indians were out-hitting their pitching early, but now they haven't been able to keep up. The Tribe has allowed 5.6 rpg over these last 16 games. C.C. Sabathia is definately going through a dead arm period. While the Indians won 12 of his first 13 starts, they have now lost 4 of his last 7. Sabathia in his last 47.1 innings has allowed 62 hits and has pitched to a 5.32 ERA. The last time the Sox faced him in Cleveland they put up 9 earned runs and chased him in the 5th inning. Ramirez has worn him out and he is also on a tear right now. He has been 10-18 .556 with 4 HR'S. The Sox starters hit Sabathia at a .350 clip, so he has been no mystery to them. The bullpen yields a decided advantage to the Sox here as well as Joe Borowski is pitching to a 5.12 ERA. And the Sox as a team hit him at a .450 clip. We'll ride the dog that is red-hot vs. a cold pitcher, and a decided bullpen advantage.
