Boston at Baltimore

The Orioles are right on the heels of the Red Sox with a pair of wins to open the series, and look to get even in the loss column this afternoon. The Red Sox once dominated this Orioles team, but that has changed as the O's have claimed five of the first six meetings this season. Jon Lackey has been plagued by lack of run support, and his old vulnerability to the long ball is starting to creep in again. His first seven starts he surrendered just 3 HRs, but has allowed six over his last three  starts. Boston continues to struggle against winning teams where they are a woeful 20-42 in their last 62 against them. Baltimore has taken control at home where they are 10-2 in their last 12, and have come back strong after a poor offensive showing in their last game, now at 23-6 in their last 29 after plating 2 or fewer runs in their last contest. Boston 7-21 in the last 28 meetings, dropping the last five. Take Baltimore.
