She fires almost every time, is working fast, and she doesn't necessarily need the lead to be successful. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #7 (All Star Heart) - Much improved since coming back from a 5 month layoff last July, mare is (5-4-0-0) since then and closed out her 2011 season with an impressive win at Santa Anita in the Las Palmas(G2) at this mile distance Nov 6th. Strong finisher is training steadily and should get a solid pace to rally into.
3rd pick: #6 (Star Billing) - In her final start of 2011 she won the (G1)Matriarch on this course at this distance. Very lightly raced, she's (7-3-2-1) overall and her lone "poor" outing came at Keeneland in the QEIICup (G1). Daughter of the late "Dynaformer" hasn't raced since late November and gives away a receny edge to Briecat. Dangerous if ready, but her price will be short.
