Top pick: #4 (TIZMETIZYOU) (4-1) - Grey filly comes off a career best when she easily went wire-to-wire here at this distance to get her maiden win on May 12th. Race was her first off a 70-day freshening and daughter of "Tiz Wonderful" stopped the clock in 1:09 flat earning the highest "fig" any of these has run. This is a big step up, but I like her chances anyway.
2nd pick: #8 (Judy In Disguise) (5-2) - English import became a stakes winner earlier this year when she won the $80K "Sweet Life" going "down the hill" at Santa Anita on Feb. 16th. Sent in for a two month break at that time, she's been sub-par in her first two since returning, both in Kentucky. Working fast, blinkers go on, and she shortens up in distance.
3rd pick: #2 (Upbeat Mood) (3-1) - She also has fine early speed and was improving noticeably when sent in for a break after finishing third in a stakes at Santa Anita April 13th. Working very fast for this attempt and a win candidate.
4th pick: #6 (Lady Rosamond) (5-1) - Lightly-raced and Baffert trained, she has speed and talent, but will be racing on the grass for the first time. Working fast and you get Baffert at a square price for a change.
