Top pick: #3 (TANQUERRAY) - Nice debut going "down the hill" at Santa Anita on Sept. 30 as she raced close up throughout and checked-in 5th of 12, beaten three lengths while running a bit "head strong." Trainer Mike Puype (25% second out) has worked her three times since and with any improvement she'll break her maiden.
2nd pick: #6 (Peppy Bolly) - She hasn't raced since Dec. 8 of 2011 when she raillied to finish second here at this level and distance. Working steadily for her return and is an obvious threat if ready.
3rd pick: #8 (Little Unusual) - Longshot runs second back off a 2 1/2 month layoff and in a field where three are returning off of long breaks and there are a pair of firsters, she has a solid shot at a square price.
