The controlling speed in a pace-less group and he can hold off the "classier" types for the win.
2nd pick: #1 (Wilkinson) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he drops in class after being competitive in 6-of-7 grass stakes dating back to April 1st of 2012. It's of note that his best ever came on this surface last May 26th when he won the (G2) American Hdcp. at odds of 44-1.
3rd pick: #3 (Willyconker) (7-2) - Hard-hitting Irish-bred didn't "fire" last out at Santa Anita after a slow start, but was a sharp winner there at this level and distance in his previous outing. Veteran has beaten better in the past and is a fine (8-2-2-0) on this surface.
4th pick: #7 (Causeithertz) (8-1) - Price play from the Baffert barn, he has the second best speed of this group and has done well on this course in the past (9-2-1-3). It's not very often that you get Baffert at a decent price and this 6-year-old should be involved from start-to-finish.
