Top pick: #4 (E Z LED) - Gelding was on the sidelines for 4 1/2 months and finished an even fourth in his return run at Santa Anita going 7 furlongs for a $40K tag April 15th. Nice "prep" for this and trainer Adam Kitchingham will drop him down, stretch him out in distance, and move him from dirt to "poly". The last tims he raced at this price, he was an easy winner at Del Mar last August at this mile trip.
2nd pick: #5 (Coluda) - Overmatched in the 12 furlong (G3) Tokyo City Stakes at Santa Anita March 24th, trainer Mike Mitchell drops him back to the price of his last win. Gelding is 3-for-6 on synthetic surfaces and was a gate to wire winner here Nov 17th.
3rd pick: #6 (Ultimate Decision) - Runs first off a Vann Belvoir claim (a 32% winning angle) and he brings him back quickly with a slight rise in price. He's yet to win in four starts on "poly", but they came when he was still a maiden.
