Top pick: #4 (MY SAMURAI WARRIOR) - He's one of several well-bred horses who are attempting to break their maidens this evening. Colt by " First Samurai" finished second at this level April 14th at Santa Anita, then was away slowly and ran evenly here in a mile grass contest May 4th. He continies to train sharply and trainer Vic Garcia will race him on the "poly" and with blinkers on, both for the first time.
2nd pick: #5 (Stars and Moons) - Price play raced evenly here at this level sprinting on May 12th and trainer Ron Ellis has a new rider (Jeff Talamo), and he'll be stretching this $135K son of "Malibu Moon" out in distance and adding lasix. Ellis has won with 5 of his last 12 maidens making their second start.
3rd pick: #6 (Majestic Moment) - Another son of "Malibu Moon" and this one cost $470K. He hasn't shown much to date, but hinted last out that he's getting better and has a series of four solid works since May 23rd.
