Top pick: #8 (VISIGODO) (5-1) - Lightly raced and well bred, he had a poor start from a tough outside post racing for twice this tag at Santa Anita on Sept. 30 in his first start in almost a year. Obviously has some problems but is working fine and trainer Mike Puype drops him into a career soft spot. Like his chances.
2nd pick: #16 (Suancesong) (3-1) - At press time this also-eligible was still listed as running, but needs one more scratch to be able to compete. He just failed last out here in a four-horse blanket photo and will travel an extra 1/16th this afternoon.
3rd pick: #10 (Rockin Cherokee) (6-1) - Hastings Park invader has been competitive in all four starts there and has a fine turn of early speed. In a winning barn (Troy Taylor) and gelding by "Rock Hard Ten" should be involved every step.
4th pick: #14 (Midnight Raven) (7-2) - Nice effort here at this tag on Nov. 10 saw him rally to finish third while racing very wide. Travels an extra furlong today and Bejarano stays put.
