He returns to New York and stretches out to seven furlongs, which should fit him well. Softer pace here should have him closer to the lead, and he will be more fit coming second off the bench.

(# 6) Dashboard Drummer - Contessa gelding makes his third run off a seven-week layoff. Capable with these, he should have good position as they hit the turn.

(# 7) He's a Pioneer - Right behind the top pick in last at Philly Park. Has a good stalking gear, and makes his third run off a layoff.

(# 8) Champ Safi - Doesn't race very often, but when in the mood (such as May 2)he can fire a big race. He had speed at one time, but has become a one-run closer.
