(#'s 1 and 1A) NIRGAL & FORWARD MOVE - High quality, formidable entry is sent out by trainer Christopher Clement, although only one will be allowed to compete as New York rules of racing require a jockey to be named at time of entry. Since both runners have Edgar Prado named, only one will be permitted to race. Both runners competed in Europe before coming here, Nirgal in his native France and Forward Move (who was bred by the Queen of England at the Irish National Stud) ran exclusively in England prior to there importation. We'll take either one for our selection, as they have similar running styles of tracking close up and finishing strongly.
