(# 6) GREG'S LASSY - Gray filly broke her maiden over Aqueduct's inner surface on March 30 earning what is the highest speed figure that this field has ever reached. Sent to the sidelines by trainer Rick Violette after a failed allowance (first try with winners) she returned on June 10 with a fine second-place finish here at Belmont. She should show even more improvement in her second race back and she is the horse to beat.

(# 4) Smokin Sarah - Cuts back in distance and drops back to an entry-level allowance after finishing second in the filly division of the New York stallion stakes at a mile here on June 3. She has talent and continues to work well.

(# 2) Rizzi's Twist - Has encountered problems in both her races since coming north from Gulfstream. Has run very well, but needs to avoid any incidents, as this is a good group for the level.

(# 1) City in the Clouds - Has speed, the rail, Contessa in her corner and the addition of blinkers. Has a big recent work on the turf at Saratoga, presumably with the "hood" on.
