(# 1) LEMON SHORE - Easy, good-looking win in the maiden breaker here at this distance on June 20. Close-up to the very fast pace-setter Kal El, he rallied well and as the chart says, won going away. That marked his first start in just over a year, and gelding by Lemon Drop Kid has room for more improvement. Trainer Clement has excellent numbers with repeaters and second start off layoff runners.

(# 3) Day Dee - Freshened up by trainer Orseno after a busy winter at Gulfstream Park. Finally got his initial victory and his numbers were on the rise. Threw in a clunker in first try with winners at Monmouth after coming north, so he was sent in for a rest. Possesses some speed, and at one time he came close in several grass sprints.

(# 2) Well Documented - Cuts-back in distance and drops in class for this. Raced against a tough crew last time and received a lot of early outside heat that made him use up whatever he had. This field is much more in line with where he belongs with winners.
