(# 5) CHITOZ - Pletcher barn continues to turn out one two-year-old after another - and most are talented. This son of Forest Wildcat, is a homebred and debuts with Lasix. Works at Saratoga are just fine and main rider Johnny V. is along for the initial run. Stable has been excellent in these grass races for two-year-olds the past couple of seasons.

(# 3) Poronui - From the top barn of Chris Clement comes this son of the great grass sire Rahy. Some very sharp drills are evident and trainer reaches out to one of it's regular jockeys in Garret Gomez. The pair is 22 of their last 92 together. Colt cost $250,000 at auction. If not today, he'll win soon.

(# 2) He's the Commander - The third top turf barn in here, and they bring a homebred son of Elusive Quality, equipped with Lasix for the initial run. Works are on the light side, but the half-mile out of the gate over the Spa. Training track on June 22 is very good. Hall of famer Bill Mott calls the shots.

(# 1) Cross the Atlantic - Sharp gate drill for Mr. Jerkens on July 7 indicates that this son of Stormy Atlantic may have some speed to offer. Stable won a turf maiden sprint with firster Leading On last season.
