(# 3) HIGH TORQUE - Pletcher runner didn't race at two, and made three-year-old debut late in the Gulfstream meet finishing third in a sprint. Trained well leading up to his next start, a two-turn race at Monmouth where he pressed pace from a wide draw. Very fast work at Monmouth for this on June 23, and today he'll show his best.

(# 6) Cadet Blue - Darley representative stretches out from a single sprint prep to a mile today. Colt is listed with Arthur Magnusson as trainer, but he is a McLaughlin assistant, so maybe there is a suspension involved. This stretch-out try is a signature McLaughlin move. Will attempt a theft.

(# 4) Secret Design - Dutrow runner pressed the pace while inside in last start. Race represented his first figure regression after three positive moves. Has only a pair of slow breeze since May 26.

(# 7) Dockmaster - Think he'll run his best race to date in this. Figures fit with these and the turf prep should have him fit for this. Has a good post for his stalking style.
