(# 5) ELIZABUL - Gelding is one for one over the local turf, breaking maiden way back in Sept. of "05" with Jerry Bailey aboard. Has become a pretty useful horse since then, and comes here by way of Gulfstream and Calder, wher he has been running well. Has mostly been competing at longer distances, but won a 5F turf sprint, beating a tough group on April 14th at Gulfstream. Now in Patrick Reynold's barn, he has done well with horses from Florida at this meet. Should be on or just off the pace.

(# 4) No Parole - May have "bounced" a bit in last, as that was only his second start since last Sept. Likes this sprinting game on the grass, and it's good to see him come back so quickly. Veteran can still bring a big race and figure.

(# 7) Dixie Baghdad - Has won two races in his career. Both have been on the grass, at this distance, and at this track. Ran into a pretty salty bunch in his return, in fact the same top three in that race returned the other day to finish 1-2-3 in reverse order from that start. Race was his seasonal debut, and he may move forward at a big price.
