2nd pick: #7 (Ticonderoga) (5-1) - Freshened up for almost two months, he was beaten just over two lengths when following a wide trip in a G3 stakes at Keeneland April 7. No-speed type is a stakes winner on the grass and won his only local start when breaking his maiden Sept. 10.
3rd pick: #4 (Makarios) (10-1) - Longshot won a Keeneland allowance at this distance April 26. Very sharp in his last grass starts, he's the only member of this talented field who has won at this nine furlong trip in the past. Can factor at a big price.
