She's won two of her first three starts, the latest a sharp win here at this distance facing weaker June 1. Stalker earned a big figure that day and it proved that she can handle the very deep dirt surface at Belmont. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #4 (Lockdown) (5-2) - Juddmonte home bred has been freshened up since a rallying third place finish in the rich Kentucky Oaks (G1) at Churchill Downs May 5. Competitive in all five starts, she's an obvious threat.
3rd pick: #7 (Moana) (5-1) - One of three fillies entered by trainer Todd Pletcher and they all race uncoupled. Speed/stalker enters off a wide and even effort on a sloppy surface in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (G2) at Pimlico May 19. She draws a nice outside post and it's noted that John Velazquez (Pletcher's #1 rider) chooses this $300K daughter of 'Uncle Mo.'
4th pick: #3 (My Miss Tapit) (6-1) - Another of the Pletcher trio, she won both starts earlier this year at Gulfstream Park. Un-raced since April 22, she's working steadily and has unlimited potential at this point.
