Top pick: #3 (SARA LOUISE) - The last runner to defeat "Rachel Alexandra" and she did it convincingly last year at Churchill Downs. Away for nine months, daughter of "Malibu Moon" was very impressive her return start at Saratoga in the G3 "Victory Ride" in the "slop" on August 29. Big drill here on Sept. 21 and she gets a big class test today. Think she's up to the task.
2nd pick: #2 (Indian Blessing) - Champ is nearing the end of her racing days but can near the $3,000,000 mark if she wins this. Nice record on this surface (4-3-1-0) and she has a great work here on the 14th. Win or lose, daughter of "Indian Charlie" has been a great performer and she's one of the best fillies of the past two decades.
3rd pick: #7 (Thunder's Dove) - Talented and lightly raced (12-7-2-0) she's won five in a row, all easily spanning 12 months and four different race-tracks. Working very fast for this and she has to be taken seriously.
