2nd pick: #12 (Freckle de Freck) (10-1) - Long time maiden is shortening up after a very wide trip from an outside post going a mile at Saratoga Aug. 25. She's been competitive here at this level in the past and her outside post at this seven furlong distance is a plus. Longshot is dangerous in this spot.
3rd pick: #9 (Cetara) (4-1) - Filly enters off a career best when finishing 2nd at this level going 5.5 furlongs at Saratoga Aug. 21. Well bred 3-year-old should like this longer trip and daughter of 'Giant's Causeway' must be left in the mix.
