Top pick: #9 (EDDY'S TIME) (7-2) - Filly has been freshened up since Aug. 3 at Saratoga when she just missed racing at this level going 8.5 furlongs. Stalker is working nicely for this attempt and draws a nice outside post at this mile trip.
2nd pick: #7 (Uman Candy) (12-1) - Price play moves off the inside after finishing 5th of 11, beaten just over 7 lengths going 7 furlongs here on Sept. 15. The move out in the gate is a plus and think she'll show whatever talent she has this afternoon.
3rd pick: #5 (Chow Fun) (6-1) - Strong finisher comes off a career best when she rallied to finish second at Saratoga on Aug. 24. She had a tough outside post that day and should be able to save some ground in this spot before launching her rally.
4th pick: #2 (Amber Morning) (2-1) - The probable favorite, daughter of "Pure Prize" missed by a 1/2 length at Saratoga at this level and distance on Aug. 11. Much improved over her debut that day, she's working fast and is an obvious threat, but will be a short price.
5th pick: #1 (Done Smoking) (3-1) - Grey filly has been competitive in both starts and was only a nose back of "Eddy" on Aug. 3 at Saratoga. However, her lack of speed, combined with the inside post, makes her task difficult, but not impossible.
