Colt had hinted at ability when he ran a close-up third in the 2010 edition of the Preakness S. (G1), but just now seems to really be coming into his own. Working very fast at the Spa for this and if he repeats his effort there in winning the G1 Forego on Sept. 3 he'll take this.
2nd pick: #3 (Uncle Mo) - Last year's undefeated 2-year-old champion looked like his old self when losing by half a nose at Saratoga in the Kings' Bishop S.(G1) going 7 furlongs on August 27. He was defeated by a surface loving runner who had won the G2 Amsterdam S. earlier in the meet. Working very fast since and this Repole Stable/Pletcher trained son of "Indian Charlie" is a win candidate.
