Top pick: #5 (NOBLE CORNERSTONE) (2-1) - He impressed in his only two starts last year as a juvenile but was brought back by his connections in a pair of difficult spots this season. Freshened up since March 1st, he's working fast, has blinkers off, and is back in with fellow New York-breds in this spot. Takes this if ready.

2nd pick: #8 (No It's Not) (10-1) - Strangely enough he's spent his entire career out of town facing "open" company. Gelding by "Yes It's True" has gone 11-1-4-3 racing on the dirt and ships up from Philly park where he broke his maiden April 14. Win came off a 2 1/2 month freshening and 4yo has worked nicely since. Price play.

3rd pick: #1 (John's Island) (301) - Lightly raced and speedy, he broke his maiden in gate-to-wire fashion at this distance at Aqueduct April 26. It was his first off a private trainer change to Jimmy Jerkens and and by far a career best. Has the rail and is a threat on the front end.

4th pick: #4 (Escape to the Moon) (10-1) - Nicely bred colt shortens up in distance after tiring badly here at this level going 8.5-furlongs on May 1st. His connections scratched him on Thursday to await this spot and son of "Malibu Moon" could factor at a square price.
