Top pick: #7 (POINT OF ENTRY) - Like all of the runners from the famous Phipp's Stable, he's beautifully-bred and appears to have a bright future. Son of the mighty "Dynaformer" hinted at some talent earlier this year in Florida but really got his act together here when breaking his maiden by 15 1/2 lengths going 9 furlongs in a contest that was "switched" off the turf. Trainer Claude "Shug" McGaughey will send him to the grass and against fellow winners, both for the first time. We'll find out a lot more about this 3yo today.

2nd pick: #5 (Eternal Ruler) - He just missed at this level going 8.5 furlongs here June 11 and did so despite some traffic woes. Race was his first in two months and also his first here since coming here from England in April. Win threat.

3rd pick: #8 (Sky Blazer) - Lightly raced gelding by "Sky Mesa" finished a close-up 3rd here despite a very wide trip May 25 in his first off a 7 week freshening and first facing winners. 3yo has a "bullet" work on the 16th and is bred to like this 10 furlong trip.
