Top pick: #7 (MY PLACE) (3-1) - Debuting daughter of "Elusive Quality" has a very strong work tab on view, including a bullet half-mile furlong breeze at Saratoga (best of 56) on the morning of Aug. 25. In the barn of Bill Mott and filly can take this if she runs to her drills.
2nd pick: #1 (Addison Run) - Grey filly by "Unbridled's Song" ships up from Laurel where her Maryland-based trainer (Larry Murray) has prepared her for her debut. The works are fine and she can factor with an alert break from her inside post.
3rd pick: #3 (Conzig) (10-1) - Price play finished second here in late May when facing weaker, then was eliminated at the break 2 1/2 months later at Saratoga. Her experience counts against this lightly raced field and 4-year-old should be 10-1 or better.
4th pick: #2 (Basarah) (7-2) - Shadwell home-bred hasn't raced since an even effort at Aqueduct when debuting last Dec. Daughter of "Awesome Again" returns with lasix added for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin (a solid 26% off of long layoffs).
5th pick: #4 (Sylvia T) (10-1) - She hasn't raced since April 14th, but daughter of "Curlin" has finished second in half of her six appearances and could grab a minor award if ready.
