Top pick: #3 (KITTY PANDA) (7-2) - Lightly-raced and well-bred, she chased and weakened here when racing at this level on Sept. 8 in her first start back off a 7 week freshening. Daughter of "Sky Mesa" has worked twice since and I like her chances.
2nd pick: #1 (Your Time Is Up) (4-1) - She was scratched out of a turf race yesterday when on the also-eligible list and is nicely drawn on the rail. Stalker fits and runs second off almost a 100 day break.
3rd pick: #4 (Gabrilicious) (20-1) - Longshot chased and tired badly here at this level on Sept. 29 in her first off a two month vacation. Filly had a tough post that day (12th of 12) and is much better situated in the gate for this attempt.
4th pick: #2 (Sweet Hot Toddy) (6-1) - Eleven-time winner runs first off a Scott Schwartz claim and this stakes-placed mare has good early speed to utilize. She should factor in this spot.
5th pick: #10 (Soul Opposition) (6-1) - Daughter of "Thunder Gulch" drops in class, but draws a tough post in this bulky field. Fits, and can be a player, but 3-year-old needs to avoid a wide trip.
