2nd pick: #5 (Shiraz) (7-2) - He just missed here at this condition and trip April 29. However, in his follow up start May 27 he did not break well and I thought he received a poor ride following that miscue. Stretch threat today.
3rd pick: #3 (Freud's Friend) (6-1) - Blinkers go in home bred who finished two lengths in back of 'Shiraz' April 29. It was his first race in five months and a career best overall. Speedy gelding should be involved from gate-to-wire at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Gherig) (10-1) - Four-year-old raced evenly when finishing 4.5 lengths behind 'Heavy Meddle' May 27. Only 1.5 lengths in back of 'Shiraz' that afternoon it was his first start in a year. Gelding by 'Ghostzapper' has the rail and may grab a share at long odds.
