2nd pick: #6 (Candir) (7-5) - Very lightly-raced, rallied from close range to break his maiden in sharp style at Saratoga July 30th. It was only his third lifetime start and first ever on the grass. $360K son of "Candy Ride" overcame a tough outside post and trainer Chad Brown worked this promising 3-year-old four times during the month of August. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #9 (Strong Stipulation) (8-1) - No-speed type has been freshened up since breaking his maiden on the Delaware main track in a switched contest June 11th. Son of "Lemon Drop Kid" ran well her on May 18th in his only previous grass start and he's a factor at a square price if the pace is fast and/or contested.
4th pick: #3 (Peaceful Talk) (15-1) - Lightly-raced son of "War Pass" has been on the sidelines since an impressive gate-to-wire maiden win here at this distance May 23rd. Working nicely for his return and this colt has plenty of room for upside. Don't just dismiss.
