Top pick: #6 (T.J.'S BODYLAN) - Colt was scheduled to make his debut on the Saratoga infield on the last day of the meet, but stayed in when the race was switched to the main track. Son of "Freud" was hard-ridden throughout and rallied to check-in third of nine, beaten just under three lengths. Should get to race on the turf today and he's the horse to beat.

nd pick: #5 (Little Dale) - Speedy gelding has had the lead turning for home in all three starts only to falter in the last furlong. His best race by far came at Saratoga in his only grass race to date when he ran second, beaten less than a length. Dangerous on the front end.

rd pick: #9 (Mark It Man) - Excellent mid-Atlantic based trainer (Steve Klesaris) ships this colt in from Penn National where he tired after chasing the pace to finih fourth of nine, facing "open" company. Barn brings him back quickly, switches him to the gras, and adds blinkers (a 33% winning move by the trainer). This race may have been their intended target.

th pick: #2 (Image of Disco) - Longshot took some "sneaky" money in a large field at Saratoga when debuting for $50K in a dirt sprint August 6. Bred to love the turf and he's been working fine on it all along. Has the inside and can factor at a big price.

th pick: #1a (Western Tryst) - Gelding cuts-back in distance after finishing a pace-setting third at Saratoga going two-turns at this level August 29. Effort showed a lot of improvement over his debut and he must be left in the mix.
