Premium Pick

Top pick: #5 (TIZ FOR TAT) (2-1) - He's finished second in four straight starts at this level, and has done so in all three local appearances. Speed/stalker is cutting back from a mile to six furlongs, and is the horse to beat.

2nd pick: #6 (Moonluck) (5-2) - Son of "Malibu Moon" cost $225K as a yearling, and finished second here when debuting at this level and distance on Sept. 13th. He's worked fine since, and is a dangerous rival.

3rd pick: #2 (Mr O'Leary) (4-1) - Lightly raced colt raced evenly after a "troubled" start when sprinting on the Saratoga turf in late August. Race was his first since he ran well on this surface when debuting on May 27th, and trainer Chris Clement has him making back-to-back starts for the first time.

4th pick: #3 (Bakken) (5-1) - Debuting colt cost $450K as a weanling, and has a series of fine works showing for trainer Chad Brown. Son of "Distorted Humor" has J.J.Castellano aboard, and the trainer/jockey combo is a strong one (104 for 343) over the past 21 months.
