It was her first off an Allen Iwinski claim and first off a seven week freshening. Louisiana bred has sharp early speed and it's noted that John Velazquez is signed on.
2nd pick: #6 (Wraith) (2-1) - The probable favorite, filly has finished second in three straight at this level and last out earned a career best "figure" on Sept. 20. One-run type draws outside of the speed and had a fine half-mile breeze here Oct 10. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Untiltherewasyou) (10-1) - Daughter of "Big Brown" is racing first off a Gary Contessa claim and he's moving her up in class and cutting her back in distance. One of two running with a win on "off" going and this filly has been working sharply for the new barn. Has the rail and is a threat at a square price.
4th pick: #5 (Sundae School) (12-1) - Longshot has been freshened up since July 30th when she finished close up despite a "troubled" trip at this level going a mile on the Saratoga turf. Capable on the dirt and grey filly by "Bernardini" may grab a share at a big price.
