Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (KAHRUMANA) (3-1) - Shadwell home bred had a very rough trip when beaten just over four lengths here at this trip Sept. 9. Sharp in all four prior to that, she has a flexible running style, and is taking a subtle drop in class.
2nd pick: #10 (Overnegotiate) (7-2) - Filly moves back to the grass after tiring badly in the Saratoga slop at this level Sept. 3 in a contest that was taken 'off the turf.' Very sharp in her three on the grass before that race, this stalker is a strong win candidate in this spot.
3rd pick: #7 (Initiate) (4-1) - Home bred by 'Pioneer of the Nile' has gone 5-1-2-1 since switching to the grass in late March. Speed/stalker finished a pace-setting 3rd at this level Aug. 17 at Saratoga and is shortening up in distance.
4th pick: #9 (Tasteful) (8-1) - One of two entered by trainer Kiaran McLaughlin, and the pair race uncoupled. Godolphin home bred by 'Street Cry' is on the grass and is racing beyond 6.5 furlongs, both for the first time. Bred for both, filly will be a big price.
