Trainer Jimmy Jerkens adds blinkers, will stretch him out in distance, and Triple Crown nominee is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Startripenterprise) (15-1) - Longshot is working fast for his first since finishing third at this level going 6-furlongs on March 16th at Aqu. He's run well in both starts and think he's a threat at a big price.
3rd pick: #8 (Mighty Zealous) (7-2) - Lightly-raced, he' been competitive in both starts and last out finished second at Aqu. going 6-furlongs March 24th. Trainer Linda Rice (who is having a solid year so far) stretches him out in distance and keeps her niece Taylor aboard.
4th pick: #5 (Bluegrass Flash) (4-1) - Grey gelding showed some speed and talent last year and hasn't raced since a poor effort on a muddy track in early Dec. Home-bred by "Bluegrass Cat" spent the winter in training at Payson Park is a major player if ready.
