Top pick: #3 (RELOAD) - Lightly-raced and well-bred Phipps Stable 3-year-old has been sharp in his first two starts and unlike most of their runners he has early speed. Son of "Hard Spun" finished second beaten a length when debuting here April 28th in a swiftly run 6 furlongs (1:09.60), then got his maiden win May 19th going 7 panels in 1:23.40. Working well since, he stretches out to a mile in his first facing winners and we'll find out a lot more about his talent level today.

2nd pick: #2 (Ender Knievel) - He was scratched here earlier in the meet by trainer Todd Pletcher and gelding will be racing for the first time since he set a pressured pace and tired in the Sunland Park Derby (G3) in late March. Working well on the Saratoga training track and a win candidate.

3rd pick: #7 (Da Vinci) - He was a winner here at this distance May 10th in a contest that was switched off the turf and had also been sharp in his previous race at Aqueduct. Well-bred colt was a rare Steve Asmussen claim in early March and this son of "A.P. Indy" originally cost $400,000. Draws a nice post for his stalking style and Dominguez stays put.
