Top pick: #6 (UNBRIDLED OCEAN) - Colt did not race at age two and made his debut at Saratoga this past meet going a mile at this level on the grass on August 13. He had all sorts of problems at the start, but made a strong rally into a fast pace, but had traffic issues in mid-stretch and finished fourth of 10, beaten 4 lengths. He had worked well above average for his first outing and this $875,000 son of "Unbridled's Song" comes back a month later and will shorten up to 7 furlongs. Trainer Todd Pletcher wins at a 29% rate second-time out and his main-rider (John Velazquez) is back aboard. The top selection.

2nd pick: #3 (Kanagaro) - He exits the same last race as "Ocean" and he also had some traffic issues in the stretch after a very wide trip. Race was his first in 6 1/2 months, first ever on the turf, and was a positive experience. Son of "Indian Charlie" contends this afternoon.
