Top pick: #1 (PLASTIQUE) - Much improved in her last two starts, she set the pace and just failed to last here at this tag and distance, and did so despite a "stumbling" start. Home-bred is in the Clement barn and is the filly to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Sundae's a Meese) - Price play Had a very tough trip at Saratoga on Sept. 3 facing tougher and last out ralloed to finish fourth here in a switched contest. Can factor this afternoon at a big price.
3rd pick: #6 (Frothy Market) - She raced evenly while wide last out and was only a length back of "Plastique" at the finish. She's run weel in the past facing tougher and should be a big price today.
4th pick: #4 (Turbo Tweaked) - Has fine early speed and she should have little difficulty getting to the hedge soon after the start. She's run her best races on this surface and should be in it from start-to-finish.
5th pick: #9 (Truffles) - No-speed type almost always puts in a late run, but draws a tough post for her style. She'll need some pace help for anything more than a small slice.
